The Pleasure Island Chamber of Commerce strives to enhance the quality of life of the residents, stakeholders, and visitors to Pleasure Island and the contiguous community.

Our Mission

The Pleasure Island Chamber of Commerce strives to enhance the quality of life of the residents, stakeholders, and visitors to Pleasure Island and the contiguous community. The Chamber provides the business community with the leadership, advocacy, and representation needed to enhance its membership, their respective businesses, and quality of life while promoting the North Carolina communities of Carolina Beach, Kure Beach, and Fort Fisher.

Join us for this spectacular 3-day event! Kick off the festival weekend with a "Night with Kites" on the beach in front of the Courtyard by Marriott, Carolina Beach! Watch as our CFKF Flyers light up the night sky. Enjoy hot cocoa, music and incredible show! Then follow us down to Fort Fisher State Recreation Area (1000 Loggerhead Road, Kure Beach) for two full days of kite festival fun on 11/5 & 11/6 from 10a-4pm! World Champion Sport Kiters .

There will be 20+Giant Kite Flyers & sport kiters, live music, a variety of food trucks, breweries, kite decorating tent, and more! Be sure to stop for lunch or dinner at one of our wonderful local restaurants found in our dining guide. Or shop local in one of our many retail and local boutiques while you are in town. Fun for all ages. Free Admission. Handicap accessible.

The Pleasure Island Chamber of Commerce is proud to present the 2nd Annual Pets in the Park on Saturday, October 8, 2022 from 10am-2pm. This event celebrates pets, their owners and pet-friendly businesses in Dog-Friendly Carolina Beach.
