Every WordPress site needs to have some essential plugins to improve its functionality. However, some themes do come with essential plugins; only after activating the theme will you know. For the themes that we like that do not come with these pre-installed essential plugins, we need to get them installed.
So what are the essential plugins?
Akismet – An antispam protection, mostly comes pre-installed in most WordPress themes. It is one of the most trusted antispam protections for WordPress.
Contact Form 7– Having a form for people to contact you is a must-have on any website. This plugin helps you out with that and makes making a form a quick snap.
Rank Math SEO– This gives search engine optimization (SEO) to your site. Allowing interested persons to find you site.
One Click Accessibility– This is a plugin most people may forget to use. There is a large number of people with some form of disability, but they would like to enjoy your site the same as everyone else. This plugin helps give accessibility to those with limited.
Wordfence Security – Firewall, Malware Scan, and Login Security UpdraftPlus– Every site needs security, and Wordfence Security does just that.
WordPress Backup & Migration– Having a site backup is always a good idea if some mishaps happen. It also allows for the moving of data from one host to the next more quickly. This plugin makes moving the site to another host a very smooth transition.
