About Me
The Basics
My name is Rebecca Decker. I am currently perusing a degree in Web Development at Wake Technical Community College. I work as a Pharmacy Services Specialist full-time at BlueCross BlueShield of North Carolina and am currently a licensed pharmacy technician for the state of North Carolina. I hope to pursue a career in web development within my current company to both put my skills to use and help create more user-friendly websites for patients, providers, and employees.
My Favorite Things in Life
1. Family
Family is everything to me! Over the course of 31 years, I have learned that family can be either blood or chosen! Family is the people that love you unconditionally. They are the people that stand by you through the good, the bad, and the ugly. They give you confidence and strength to try new things and they teach you that if at first you do not succeed then get up and try again!
2. Adventure
Afterall, what is life without a little adventure? I enjoy hiking, horseback riding, exploring the countryside and mountains. My retirement plan is to travel the world and explore different cultures and historical landmarks. The mountains are my primary focus due to their calming atmosphere and breathtaking views. I also enjoy card games, puzzles, trivia, and spending time with friends. Life is too short to wait for happiness and success; take your life into your own hands and create the life you have dreamt of having – make dreams into reality!
About
Rebecca is a Web Development student studying at Wake Technical Community College. She is currently obtaining her A.A.S and upon graduation, plans to further her education at University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Her goal is to inspire others to embrace their passion for web development!
