Feeling nervous about beginning your journey to becoming a web developer? Here are some useful resources sure to help you succeed along the way!
Codeacademy
Codeacademy is a great resource for learning how to code! It has an interactive platform as well as reading material and other resources! Although Codeacademy does offer paid plan there are options for access to free courses. Speaking firsthand, this is a great resource to learn from. I used it for one of my earlier course assignments and it made learning HTML, PHP, and CSS much easier. It is highly recommended that you take the time to learn more about Codeacademy.
Udemy
Udemy allows you access to over 11,000 courses, practice tests, recommendations, and prep materials for over 200 different exams. The company does have a monthly fee it is still much more affordable at $16.58, and you have the convenience of cancelling at any time. Udemy is also a very well-known and respectable company earning the trust of some of the nation’s leading brands, from Samsung to AT&T.
Interested in learning more, dive deeper and see if Udemy is a good fit for you.
LinkedIn Learning
LinkedIn learning seems to have all your job searching and preparation needs. LinkedIn offers over 20,000 courses led by real life experts. Much like its competitors, there are options for free courses as options for paid monthly or annually subscriptions. This is another resource I use to gain more knowledge about CSS and HTML.
Coursera
Coursera is a great resource to use to jump start your web development career! It is similar to an all-in-one deal! You have a wide range of career courses to choose from and Coursera collaborated with universities, governments, and businesses to ensure you are receiving the best possible material as well as having a job opportunity upon completion.
