About Me

My name is Chase Franklin and I am a web developer living in Raleigh, NC. I am 36 years old and am currently working towards an Associate of Science degree in Web Development at Wake Technical Community College.

I began programming in 2016, after 7+ years in the food industry when I decided to get out of food management and attended The Iron Yard and completed their Front-End Engineering program. I learned to build websites and applications using HTML, CSS, and Javascript. This included jQuery, Backbone, and React.

I went on to get my first development contract at EP + Co building out features for the first iteration of the Denny's On Demand online ordering application.

Since that time I have worked for a startup managing a WordPress site and uploading content daily, as well as Chumney & Associates where I coded emails and content pages daily for automotive clients.
