-"At Kurakats, we're commited to providing healthy and well socialized Devon Rex Kittens."

About Us

In the mountains of North Carolina, there is a full-time Devon Rex Breeder where kittens are raised and cared for 24 hours a day. Breeding exotic Devon Rex Kittens is a challenge, but we have developed a precise system to ensure impeccable standards are met with our kittens; resulting in healthy and well socialized kittens. All Kurakats have access to kibbles and fresh water 24 hours a day, and the Sires, Queens and Kittens are all given wet food both in the morning and at night.A Clean Cattery Is A Healthy Cattery.
The entire Treasure House Of Kats is cleaned on a daily basis. All apartments and free-range areas are vacuumed and cleaned with hospital grade antiseptic, apartments are inspected daily, and the bedding is replaced as necessary (or at a minimun of once each week). We are serious about their well-being. Rest assure, we do everything humanly possible to keep your kitten safe and healthy. We spare no expense! Suppyling only quality food made in America, we make sure "Nutro" Kibbles are availalbe to all Kurakats 24 hours a day. "Stella & Chews's Freeze Dryed Raw" is also a healthy, nutritious supplement that we give to all our kats. No matter the season, their environment is maintained at a cozy temperature between 75°f-79°f. Kurakats also ensures there is never overcrowding, thus reducing any potential stress the kats may feel. We have ample room at Kurakats, featuring four divisions with four litters max in each.

Rooms in the cattery are identified by name:

We're on the map...

Each habitat has been designed with ample free-range space. For privacy, each queen has her own personal 4'x 4'x 8' independent apartment. We have also installed a video monitoring system in all areas to help us supervise their daily activities and ensure they are safe and healthy. Check out our YouTube channel, we upload videos every week featuring footage from our Treasure House of Kats.

Through a precise step-by-step socializing program (Lisa and Robb playing with the kittens all day everyday), they all make loving companions. Our kittens and adults are extremely well socialized, they crave attention and trust humans very much. We offer free lifetime customer support, and do our absolute best to make every client feel 100% satisfied with their new Kurakat.
