Magda Rofail

Web Designer

Born in Mansoura, Egypt. Magda lived with her family until she was 18 years old. This taught her how to be independent and a hard worker. Magda loved art and drawing from a young age. In Middle School Magda discovered her love for computers and design. She liked to be hands on with things as it always kept her busy and engaged. After high school, Magda went to Mansoura University of Engineering in Egypt with the idea of being a computer engineer. She wanted to become the independent and successful woman she always longed to be. She also figured out that such a field will get her a well paid job.

Magda got married to her wonderful partner in 2006 and they had a precious baby girl in April 2007 and then had a precious boy in June 2009. Magda's life changed forever after becoming a mother. She concentrated on taking care of her young children and put her dream aside. In 2011, Magda moved to Raleigh, NC with her family. She initially dedicated all her time to her 2 children during their first years of school. She then realized that she needs to finish her studies and follow her passion not only to provide for her children but also to inspire them to overcome adversity and work hard the same way she did. For this reason, Magda joined the web design program at Wake Technical Community College in 2018. Her love for art and design helped her excell in her studies. She completed 2 semesters and is working hard towards graduation in December 2021.

A young lady on a bridge with colorful butterflies around

I painted this picture for my daughter to hang up in her room. She loves butterflies and nature. My daughter is 13 and she is already falling in love with art and design. She helped me pick the colors and the background. She reminds me of myself at her age. Drawing and design had always been my passion. It allows me to better express myself and feelings.

  • Transfer data from hard copy to a digital database.
  • Create spreadsheets to track important customer information and orders.
  • Update various data including financial transactions, customer information, inventory, status of items or other information
  • Organize existing data in a spreadsheet.
  • Verify outdated data and make any necessary changes to records.

Taking care of kids is something Magda always loves to do. It is a big challenge to manage kids behaviour but still so much fun.

  • Pick up the children from school at 1:00PM and bring the children home or to appointments that will be set up well in advance.
  • Alert the parents immediately if there are any issues at home.
  • Assist children with any school projects that may be required.
  • Engage children with fun activities, such as games, puzzles or pretend play.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and take messages for the family.
