Travis is currently a student at Wake Technical Community College studying Web Development. He will be graduating in the spring of 2024 and hopes to utilize his knowledge on creating dynamic, lively, web pages for small business and large corporations alike.
My Life’s Journey
Hello everyone,
My name is Travis Barber and I am 28 years old. Back in 2013 I attended my first college being Saint Bonaventure University where I attained my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. During my time there I was fortunate enough to take a few courses dealing with the Java programming language where I begun to experiment with my abilities in the technology field. Between this experience and my consistent fascination with software development & IT it pushed me to further my education here at Wake Technical Community College.
I started studying at Wake Tech in the fall of 2021 and have since learned several technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, C++, MySQL, and more. These languages have allowed me to apply my web development skills when creating my portfolio and other various projects that have showcased my skill set. When observing the my portfolio website you can view former projects that I have developed as well as a previous blog website which has since been updated to this version that resembles my current skills.
